Successful change processes follow five principles:

  • In the literal sense of the word, principles do not describe a gradual process, but rather a fundamental approach
  • All five principles are equally important over the entire course of the project, but need to vary in their intensity
  • A successful change process reflects these principles in all measures and ensures that the specific design is customised to the given challenges
  • Without continuity, flexibility and reference to the business, they remain ineffective
